After a very busy month of July which featured 11 concerts (5 with Queen and 6 solo – including the epic Fantasy Springs event pictured above), August begins with a short period of rest for Adam. However, as he tweeted a couple of days ago, we can expect the third single from Trespassing to be announced sometime early this month. Later in the month, Adam will head to Japan and Australia for album promo and a few concerts as well. We are also anxiously waiting to learn if Adam will be a judge or have some other regular role in the upcoming season of American Idol. In the meantime, enjoy the chat!

I do like the oofta (actually of Norwegian origin if I remember correctly). This relationship will always have a place in his heart, even if it should end some day. The new tattoo looks good, but how will I see that freckled forearm if he keeps putting more stuff? Good grief, he is a handful. I don’t know how his mom still looks that young.

I think Randy is a better bet for Jimmy’s position. There was a rumour about Jimmy and Randy trading places a while ago. A friend tells me that Jimmy is not a likely judge, though, because he requires a lot of takes just to get the little that he says right every week. So maybe he is going.

Pharrell has a fair bit of experience in production with other singers and a good track record. He would bring a completely different sensibility to the Idol performances. I can see him in that slot.

Oh oofta, I made a booboo. I guess the origin is Scandinavian, not really Finnish. Oh well, I guess this 29 year old brain can only remember bits and pieces of stories from months ago. The meaning is right though.

Adam did look cute in the vid but I think black hair is still my favorite.

Just loving the hits Adam posts get her.

mils I watched some of Freddie last night. I found him to be really uncomfortable, the smoking was very distracting. Adam is so much more articulate in interviews.

New tattoo is way too big. I like the sentiment and the font but it could have been expressed much smaller. I don’t mind the oofta on the hand at all. But I do not like the whole forearm being covered.

I think the nicey nicey radio station Adam was too much for him and he is rebelling, hair, make-up, new tat or tats(the rest of the band is going together when they get there) I don’t know if Adam will go with them also or he might even get a new one with Sauli.

RE the crays on twitter I started reading a feed yesterday where a couple of women were discussing that they were done, that poor Tommy was soo hurt when Adam told Sauli he loved him at FS and a bunch of other crap. Is this the person that Adam blocked? I am so naive, I did not know that was going on. I knew there was fanfic but not all out delusion regarding Adommy, at least not to this level. Adam is being kind just to call it sad.

I found Freddie quite hyper, intense, and a bit arrogant as time went on – or perhaps I should say there seemed to be a much sharper edge to his attitude. I find Adam much more engaging to listen to. He claims to be intense, but if he is he defuses it with his sense of humour, which is more up front than Freddie’s. Freddie certainly came across as someone who knew exactly who he was and what he wanted to do musically. It’s always fascinating and exciting to me to see and hear artists who are so confident in their expression of their art. As for the arrogance, who knows what Adam will be like after 10 years in the spotlight, after the novelty has worn off…although I think we all believe he’ll be the same lovely guy.

They should be on the cover of a cookbook.

And re: OOFTA – I like OOFTA! It’s small and kinda cool looking, it obviously has a private, cherished meaning between him and Sauli (Sauli has the same tattoo in the same location on his hand), and it’s in a spot where he can see if often and be reminded of what he and Sauli share. I think that’s really sweet.

I can’t believe how much more accepting of tattoos I have become since I became an Adam fan. LOL! But I also know several lovely people in my real life who have gotten tattoos as a means of body art or self-expression or to mark an important event, and I understand it now.

I would see many people with tattoos and piercings while doing facials. Some you would never suspect would have them until their upper chest, back and arms are exposed. Butterflies, vines, flowers, birds, a pair of penguins and many other things. Some of the piercings were difficult to massage around, sometimes I would ask about them and I learned things!

Here I am catching up again and finally finished. So enjoyed all the discourse during the last 17 or so pages!

The Duke and I are still not totally over whatever whalloped us in the UK. “Comin alive” but SLOWLY! Actually went to work for one day this past week. So can only hope whatever’s laid you low- NKD- is not quite so virulent…maybe a less potent US version! Get back on track soon!

Happy Birthday to all those in August…lost track as I read through the blog but you know who you all are! May all your days be great!

Jlurksacto — would love one of the Kiev DVDs when you make them. Am still behind on the London vids because my hearing is still not quite right and the sound always seems off. Will catch up when I can really appreciate how fabulous Adam was. Can’t wait!

Am in the camp that “thinks” the September job is something on Idol. Really hope so; it would be wonderful to see him on TV as articulate and gorgeous as hell every week and it would have to give him the boost he needs. Hey, it put JLo back on the charts (and we know our boy has way more talent and charisma)

Happier with black hair but tolerating the silver fairly well for now. Much better than the brassy look we first saw.

Well, those are all the opinions I have for the moment…so until next time…..

Just saw Queen. I am so glad that Brian got a solo of his own. Jessie J has quite a voice, but it didn’t do justice to the song. She just semed to be doing her thing. And of course I couldn’t help remembering what I witnessed exactly a month ago (and listen to every day). I kept looking for chemistry between Brian and Jessie or some of the joy that I saw in Hammersmith and it just wasn’t there.

Little Duchess glad your health is returning to normal. That must have been some awful bug.

I am hopeful that something wonderful is happening in Sept for our BB.

I would love Adam to have his very own variety show in the tradition of Sunny and Cher. It would be perfect. Adam would get to showcase his own talent every week and at the same time have fun and talented musical guests. If I’m going to dream, might as well dream big.

BTW, my twitter feed is full of love for Adam and Queen and not so much love for Queen and JJ right now.

I am hopeful that something wonderful is happening in Sept for our BB. I would love Adam to have his very own variety show in the tradition of Sunny and Cher. It would be perfect. Adam would get to showcase his own talent every week and at the same time have fun and talented musical guests. If I'm going to dream, might as well dream big. BTW, my twitter feed is full of love for Adam and Queen and not so much love for Queen and JJ right now.

I really like the new tattoo, the meaning and the font, agree with I just wish it was smaller.
Love the hair in the videos. I prefer the black with highlights, but I can certainly live with the silver for a while.
