After a very busy month of July which featured 11 concerts (5 with Queen and 6 solo – including the epic Fantasy Springs event pictured above), August begins with a short period of rest for Adam. However, as he tweeted a couple of days ago, we can expect the third single from Trespassing to be announced sometime early this month. Later in the month, Adam will head to Japan and Australia for album promo and a few concerts as well. We are also anxiously waiting to learn if Adam will be a judge or have some other regular role in the upcoming season of American Idol. In the meantime, enjoy the chat!

    In the picture I think it looks quite good. (But not even close to as good as the pic on the left side of his twitter page!) The dark eyebrows save him from looking too washed out. I need to see more pics.

    Gotta hand it to him – he sure knows how to keep himself in the news! My verdict: It’s fun, it’s summer, it’s only hair. Can’t wait to see him strutting his stuff with this new look – I’m even more excited to read/hear all about it!

    We should be grateful and thank all the Gods of Planet Fierce that Adam didn’t shave his hair and grew goatee. Or we didn’t get blue hair.
    Or nose ring.
    I have that strange impression that boys are morphing into each other.
    Like any old good marriage they will soon look alike…

    This blond hair will get him a mention in every celeb gossip site while dropping a new single is a good thing.

    I wonder if he was thinking about the blond, perhaps for the video, was looking at old footage of himself while blond, came across the Crazy vid, and decided to dig out those red pants.

    Oh. It’s not that bad but he looks like a stranger Eek! That contrast… I think it’s white white, not similar to the Crazy blond/look. The hair cut looks the same as before which is good Smile.

    Anyway it’s Adam and it’s his hair, so I just drop a tear and have what is given…

    Yes, Oksana, we can be thankful that there is hair, whatever color.

    I could even handle facial hair as long as it’s blond. I do not like the darkened facial hair on Adam. It looks like Wooly Willy or whatever that thing is called.

    I remember some time ago during one of the interviews Adam was asked if he would consider going blond and he said “maybe”.

    I was away from my computer for awhile and came back and my twitter feed was up, looking earlier at the hair pictures, clicked on the tab and there are over 600 tweets regarding Adam and his hair. SO FUNNY! I think I perfer dark but it could just be that it is so different in a couple of months it might be weird when it goes back to black. He is still a beautiful man.

    Young blond Adam=very cute! Older blond Adam…one word…yuch. I also liked the light/dark contrast with Sauli, but still better than shaved or facial hair! (Sorry, Ron.) I knew this would happen sooner or later…steeling myself for red eventually. I really liked the contrast with Adam’s dark hair and Brian May’s white hair, too! Such is life with AFL!! We knew what we were in for!

    Woooot!! I love it! It’s really fun and really different. And I love that it’s still the same style, which helps a lot. I think it looks very fashion forward and he can definitely pull it off. The dark eyebrows make a striking contrast that really works, IMO.

    This will be fun news cycle to watch.

    For those of you despairing, though — c’mon, lighten up! *pun intended* It’s just hair color! He’s gonna have a lot of fun with this, and I’m gonna enjoy the ride. I for one am glad that he just went for it. As much as I loved the previous “perfect” ‘do, I’ve been looking forward to seeing what he’d look like as a platinum blond, cuz I had figured he’d go for it at some point. I’m just tickled that he totally surprised us with this and caught us completely off guard. Smile

    I have to post here again the picture cwm posted in the morning… Someone been photoshoping to see what it could look like. It actually looked very much like what we got! Only slightly more yellowish blond than the final result.

    I’d definitely pick up the brown one in the middle.

    I think the brown is just more approachable, the blond more out there/fashion. The dark hair he had lately made him look like an old-fashioned movie star, very distinguished and classy. I do love his guts to just go for it.
