OK, I made a picasa album that should be open to anyone who has the address. I went over the pics again and I am not crazy about the lighting, but judge for yourselves. Now that we have blond Adam, here is a reminder of what we were used to. The pics are in order, the first ones from the floor on the night of the 11th and the others from the first row balcony on the 12th until my battery died when he came out with his dragon jacket. Well, I need to see a proper photo before I can judge, but not feeling it at the moment. I was looking at the photos to see if the eyebrows had changed too but can’t tell because of the sunglasses.
I actually like his blond hair in the old photos, but from the little I can see this seems a strange, almost grey blond. I love fierce, dark Adam too.
Although in that twitter photo of the red, brown and blond, I quite like the red and brown on him.

oksana, I saw the news about Maeve Binchy last week. Very sad, she was one of my favourite writers too, I have nearly all her books and read them again and again. Apparently she had only been ill for a short time.
agree with cwm, the hair has been perfect for the last year. But it has been the longest he’s had the same style, and I too was thinking we were going to be in for a change soon, wasn’t expecting such a drastic change though.
Also agree with the ‘prefer blond to shaved’….
Ron,don’t take it personally, I love facial hair on Sauli, but not on Adam. Somehow it doesn’t look right on him…
I actually wonder if the blonde might just be an in-between stage, and he’s going to go with something really crazy for the Cuckoo video – like various shades of blue or purple or something.

The blond might be easier to maintain. That black over ginger had to get old after a while in terms of being labor intensive.
Dunno. Have to see the whole head. But it def makes him less striking visually.
And this is very shallow, but the yin/yang of Adam and Sauli’s visual was cool.
On the plus side, Adam looks relaxed and happy! looks like he stayed well covered-up (surprise!), no significant tanning or burning visible – and that is a good thing, skin cancer is scary stuff and so prevalent these days.

I especially don’t like it because Sauli’s blonde. Don’t like when couples go all matchy matchy (hair or clothes).
Oh well…I’m sure we won’t have to wait long for it to change. Although, it’s really hard on your hair to go from color (especially super dark) to bleach then back to color. So it may be longer than I would like

Never get too used to something with Adam, because he is bound to change it. That hair was perfection! I mourn the loss of it. But maybe I can warm up to blond as well. Give me a minute. In the end, it is something that can be changed easily, especially given that Adam’s hair seems to grow so fast.
But way to get us past the Adam-news draught and Christmas albums. Which reminds me….
Ron: I want to be back on your Christmas list. After all I pledged to buy a dozen of those albums as long as they are produced by you. You don’t know how much of a sacrifice that was.
Off topic (sort of) …I just read that Marvin Hamlisch died. I will always remember the music from The Sting (with Robert Redford who I really liked for reasons unknown to me at the time) and of course the musical, Chorus Line. And we can’t forget his song performed by Barbra Streisand, The Way We Were.
