Have a wonderful time in Japan. I envy you. Used to live in Kobe, near Osaka, for 4 years. Wish I were there for the concert.
But it’s not going to happen. Hubby doesn’t care about Adam.
I’m a lonely soul here. That’s why I love this place so much.
OK, I am posting this here as well as on the July 12th concert thread since I don’t know if anyone still goes there. I finally got around to doing something with my photos from the concert. I had BIG plans, got an extra battery as well as a very large picture card but had to use my little camera, not my good DSLR that I was afraid to take into the theater. Since I was on the floor the first night with a limited view, I wasn’t planning to take many pictures and the setting was wrong so a lot of them didn’t come out well. But there are still some good ones, especially of the waving hands. The second night I had a great view and the right setting but I had battery problems and FORGOT THE BACKUP BATTERY! So it died when Adam came out in his dragon jacket! The red must have killed the camera. Lol. Anyway, there are some good shots, not like the professional close-ups, but nice interactions between the guys. (There are a lot of shots of Brian and Roger since I didn’t know that the battery was going to die on me in a minute). For some reason, Snapfish mixed up the order of the photos when I uploaded them so they are all mixed up and I couldn’t fix it, but from the angle you can see what is the first night and what is the second night. It is best viewed as a slideshow.

Actually I agree with both of you because it can seem like, or appear to be, a bit of a sell-out in a way … if you know what I mean.

I just reread my post where I said that I would be “away for the Japan concert” so that is where you thought I would be going to it. If only. I meant that I would be away in Ireland when that concert is happening so I will miss the threads, vids, excitement, etc. surrounding it.

Ok, LadyNorth, *takes you aside and puts an arm around your shoulder* – as a newly minted Adam fan, there’s something you need to know. Adam will never keep the same look for long. He likes to mix things up and keep everyone on their toes. He will undergo radical shifts in his look like it’s no big deal, while we’re out here variously hyperventilating, convulsing, laughing, flailing, practicing zen acceptance, or shedding quiet tears. It’s best to keep an open mind and have a sense of humor about these things! And never get too attached to any particular look!

He had his most recent look for more a year. I had had a feeling a change was comin’ and I also wondered whether he might at some point try going blonde, but he definitely caught us off guard this time!!

I remember seeing earlier a photo too of the young Adam, slimmer than at high school, very blond and very cute. I just like the fierce black with recent cut, that’s all

It was a miracle he kept that MOST gorgeous wolf hair as long as he did! I vote NO to blond…did he ask me?…guess I will have to look at him from the neck down from now on!!
