The calm after the end of QAL in February didn’t last long – thank the universe – and the roll-out to TOH appears nicely underway. We had the Sunrise/AU interview on 3/18, followed by the MiniMTV one on 3/20, the Hunger Mag major Q&A (with spectacular pics by Rankin) on 3/24, Attitude Mag’s great article (sold-out, of course), ending up with the iHeart Red Carpet appearance. But the big news, of course, was the Ghost Town snippet and the interest it engendered. April looks to be even more interesting, with the single release on the 21st – good times ahead.

Adam Lambert will release his new single “Ghost Town”, which was co-produced by Max Martin, this Tuesday, April 21st at 12 midnight ET. [just after 11:59 PM Monday]

    There is apparently a technical problem at the hosting company that is causing some issues with the spam filter that normally checks comments before allowing them to post. I have opened a trouble ticket with the hosting company, and have attempted to disable this filter for now while the issue is being worked on. Hopefully everything will be back to normal soon.

    Hi gang – I’m finally resurfacing. Thank you so much for all of your kind and thoughtful posts that you sent my way. I really really appreciate all of the love and support.

    We had my mother’s memorial service a little more than a week ago (she passed away a month ago), and now this coming weekend my brothers and I will start the long, difficult process of clearing out our parents’ home of 43 years and dealing with their estate. (Kradamour – I am with you in spirit, dear sister, in how difficult these tasks are.)

    Ironically, after we laid my mother to rest, the very next day my mother-in-law (who lives near us) had a bad fall and hit her head, injuring her face/head and breaking a rib. So we literally went straight from dealing with my own mother’s passing to dealing with my husband’s mother’s new injuries and hospitalization/recovery, and making major changes to her living situation to prevent future falls.

    So it’s been quite a week and a half since I last posted here at ALL. In fact, it’s been quite a month-plus. I’m ready for things to settle back down to some semblance of normalcy!

    On a happier note, I have to say that I FREAKIN’ LOVE Ghost Town! Wow! I loved how surprising and engaging the song was to me at first listen, with so many layers and colors, and my love for it has just deepened with each listen. I thrill every time at the transitions into the deep house sections, as the percussive momentum builds through the whistle chorus. And then Adam voice coming in over the top of all that… ahhhhh it’s fantastic.

    And we get the music video today and a live performance in two days. Wooooot!! Can’t wait!! Dance

    RE: Sam Smith’s vocal problems. With all the money that is at stake, you would think stars would take the time to learn how to sing in a way that protects their primary asset. His insurance must be going way up.

    Perhaps he has had proper coaching but it hasn’t been possible to overcome old habits. I am so thankful that Adam learned how to do this early in his life.

    Seems like the technical issues may have been partially resolved, but it is still possible that comments may get sent to moderation when they shouldn’t be. Either AL or myself will approve them eventually, so be patient. I’ll be working on this issue further with the hosting company on Tuesday.

    I can’t find Ghost Town on Spotify (I am using the free version.) I added my facebook friends (all Glambert) and none of them are on Spotify. Cry

    A fan has reported that GT has been stuck at 445,000 hits for the last 2 days. Apparently, a song has to be Spotified 500,000 times before the music charts will reference it. This makes sense – the charts aren’t going to bother with songs that aren’t Spotified much.

    Maybe they start discounting repeats after you have played a song a certain number of times in a specific timeframe. If so, then we Spotify virgins should try it out, because we are so close. Big Smile

    luval reading about throat and vocal cords problems with other singers make me realize how well skilled Adam is…
    No news about Adam’s bleeding vocal cords, even though he was on big and long tours…

    I mean Glamnation Tour was so exhausting.. 113 concerts right (according to wikipedia) ? And what about the QAL tour ? Really a tour-de-force…

    I wasn’t directly on board with Adam’s song but I don’t know why, the melody gets stuck in my brain, even after I haven’t played the video on youtube for several days…

    To me, the most important thing is that the song really features his beautiful voice.. And I agree with you: L’histoire se répète. Grin

    Hi sparkle!! I was thinking about Wilkes Barre earlier when I saw krads posting. It was where so many of us met for the 1st time for an intimate and fun filled evening. Wish he’d do that again…but probably not. This Era is going to be different…

    Added the ET and Ellen show appearances to the Upcoming Shows/Events. It’s not really set up for TV shows so that is why the wording is a bit awkward.
