The calm after the end of QAL in February didn’t last long – thank the universe – and the roll-out to TOH appears nicely underway. We had the Sunrise/AU interview on 3/18, followed by the MiniMTV one on 3/20, the Hunger Mag major Q&A (with spectacular pics by Rankin) on 3/24, Attitude Mag’s great article (sold-out, of course), ending up with the iHeart Red Carpet appearance. But the big news, of course, was the Ghost Town snippet and the interest it engendered. April looks to be even more interesting, with the single release on the 21st – good times ahead.

Adam Lambert will release his new single “Ghost Town”, which was co-produced by Max Martin, this Tuesday, April 21st at 12 midnight ET. [just after 11:59 PM Monday]

    Hi to all, by the way! and a very belated thank you for the many kind thoughts and sweet cards sent my way after my mother’s passing. At the time I just wasn’t able to respond. Her passing hit me very hard, I had spent the last five years looking after her and the end was much more sudden than expected.
    Your messages meant a lot to me.

    I love that photo with the creepers so much!
    Being ‘away’ for three months is interesting…I see a definite difference in the photos now and the photos from early January. Hard to put my finger on…but something is different. Very subtle, but I haven’t seen a photo of Adam for three months and it struck me.

    mmm, I am actually stressing over concerts…I have taken a teaching gig again and it might hinder my stanning! Haven’t signed the contract for next year yet and cannot believe that I am seriously considering not going back so that I can be free to travel to concerts…gah!

    ulti, that gizmodo article was really interesting. I think it is related to the fact that when we are younger, our friends are always sharing music with us, and we are plugged into the stations that our friends listen to. My students are always handing each other ear buds to listen to something on their phones, etc.
    Older, we don’t talk about music or share it as much or at all. I can’t remember the last time I discussed or even mentioned music to a friend. I have to aggressively search out music if I want to hear something new. I think that as we get older, most people don’t bother, and just listen to what they know. That was definitely true for me until Adam, actually.

    Agree, Krad, about the difference in Adam – especially coming off QAL – a slightly harder edge (not in a bad way – just part of getting older and seeing so much – especially how the industry works.) And then there’s the ease and confidence that’s so much a part of him now – he wears success well.

    Funny – not funny – my youngest daughter slipped on a bathroom rug and broke her ankle – in a boot – had to go to court for a case (she’s a lawyer) and was dreading the laughs – knows pretty much everyone there – lol

    Krads– Haha! I know what you mean about work interfering with our stanning. It’s been all I can do to keep up with my crazy work schedule and all the updates on Adam in the past couple of weeks. But…in three months I’m retiring and doing complicated night call trades to attend concerts will be a thing of the past. What a wonderful thought!
