The calm after the end of QAL in February didn’t last long – thank the universe – and the roll-out to TOH appears nicely underway. We had the Sunrise/AU interview on 3/18, followed by the MiniMTV one on 3/20, the Hunger Mag major Q&A (with spectacular pics by Rankin) on 3/24, Attitude Mag’s great article (sold-out, of course), ending up with the iHeart Red Carpet appearance. But the big news, of course, was the Ghost Town snippet and the interest it engendered. April looks to be even more interesting, with the single release on the 21st – good times ahead.

Adam Lambert will release his new single “Ghost Town”, which was co-produced by Max Martin, this Tuesday, April 21st at 12 midnight ET. [just after 11:59 PM Monday]

    How awesome that all of these UK and other European sites are picking up on this story.
    Adam is relevant! If some are including links to his video, then it’s a win! IMO
    People that will follow a sensational story will possibly listen that may not have otherwise.
    I think this falls in the “no publicity is bad publicity” category.

    Adam has been in Hollywood for over a decade and is not celibate. Not news.
    He didn’t out anyone which would be a whole different story.

    On my way to bed, but still buzzled about AO pre-sale shoppings… There’s no longer any info about MP3 or track listing. Also I couldn’t login to my account, it didn’t even recognize my email! Anyone else having problems there? I would like to check if my membership payment is still valid. I will be very thankful if someone can try if it works for you!     ulti and luval……I’ve never got all the hype over Ellen either….I have never found her a particularly natural talk show host, she umms, and errs and repeats herself too often, not at all fluid.
    Give me Graham, Norton or Jonathan Ross any day….

    cait….isn’t shazam something you use to find out the name of a song thats playing in a bar/restaurant/shop or radio etc??? And I think you can only do it once. so you wouldn’t want to use it during the Ellen show, as she will announce the song title on there.

    I have to agree with nekkid…at this timing, all publicity is good publicity, given that Adam did not out anyone, did not diss anyone, and frankly didn’t surprise anyone.

    Also agree with comments re Ellen. I love her quirky sense of humor as a stand-up, but really don’t get why she has a talk show; she is fairly wooden and sometimes her sly-ness that plays well on a stage can be questionable when applied to a guest. For all her professed support of Adam, those references to the AMAs gave the topic a little bit of new life each time.
    I am delighted that he will be able to showcase the song on her show, but I would just as soon that he not sit and chat beyond a couple of words to push the single and the album.

    And, unlike his other releases, I suspect that Adam will not need her or anyone’s ‘help’ to advance sales and plays of this one. It is magical! (that is written by someone who has never particularly liked Adam’s recorded music, for the reasons stated by others, that the electronics obscured his voice).
    I really, really love GT and am apparently not by any means alone!
    Can’t wait to hear the rest of the album!
