The calm after the end of QAL in February didn’t last long – thank the universe – and the roll-out to TOH appears nicely underway. We had the Sunrise/AU interview on 3/18, followed by the MiniMTV one on 3/20, the Hunger Mag major Q&A (with spectacular pics by Rankin) on 3/24, Attitude Mag’s great article (sold-out, of course), ending up with the iHeart Red Carpet appearance. But the big news, of course, was the Ghost Town snippet and the interest it engendered. April looks to be even more interesting, with the single release on the 21st – good times ahead.

Hello Kradamour! So nice to hear form you again! I hope that you will drop in a bit more to celebrate the TOH era is it unfolds.
Yeah. About all the tabloids in the UK are posting the story about Adam sleeping/ being with in the closet gay Hollywood stars. Luckily some of them also post a link to the lyric video of Ghost Town. Maybe something good will come out of it.
I wonder though if Adam realized when he admitted to that question to the interviewer that (at least the UK) press would run away with that.
The interview itself was amusing to read, but it was glamour and had nothing to do with his music.
Another topic: There seems something brewing underground here in the Netherlands about Ghost Town. Although the major stations haven’t picked up the song yet it’s getting more and more attention of the little trendsetters and stuff. Hitzound tweeted about it today again and also another twitter account with followers from the industry tweeted yesterday about the song. The Netherlands is also still one of the countries where Ghost Town is still in the Top 200 on iTunes. I have a good feeling that it will get picked up in the next week or two. We’ll see.
I am in total agreement with rs on that French magazine. It is a lot like the current version of Vanity Fair, which plays directly to the lowest common denominator in it’s target demographic – women in their 20’s and 30’s. The article reinforces old-fashioned sexual stereotypes and presses all the “shallow” buttons.
It’s interesting to see how many people have conflated experimental sex with love (i.e. the cheating on Sauli line-of-thought). Also, why do so many people think he had sex with Ke$ha on the basis of a known French-kissing episode and a tweet?
We have miniscule insights into Adam’s life – tiny snapshots – and we excavate those for answers when there are 23 hours and 59 other minutes in every day of his life that we don’t see.
Also, you can’t succumb to an attraction you don’t feel. IMHO, it was probably a planned moment in much the same way as John Lennon planned a moment with Brian Epstein. (That moment didn’t happen in the end but it had it’s origins in the same type of curiosity that Adam has expressed.)
At any rate that’s my take and I couldn’t care less who it was with.
Of course also Finnish online tabloids have found sleeping with closet gays -news.. Sigh.
GT is played here on many main radio stations. I have been on their sites many times giving it thumbs up. No one asked my age

I made spotify playlists for myself yesterday and added Runnin’ after GT. They fit together great! One reason I love them both is that his voice is so clear in both, not too much electronic sounds in verses and great hooking beat in between
I unfollow fighters at the first sign of trouble but I do follow a couple of key fans/major twitter trenders who dislike Tommy so I can tell that something is going on. (I WISH they were nicer people because they are extremely supportive of Adam.)

I agree with you HK fan but it is what it is. In the meantime, if we ignore the articles, they will quickly run their course. If we don’t the media cycle will evolve into speculative articles about who, when, where, etc.

I dont understand all the hate around. I dont like Justin Biebers music, dont like Sam Smith, dont like many things but dont spread the hate around. Ppl have different taste, you cant like everyone and thats more than. But oopenly turning it in an almost war, both sides getting more aggressive…

Cait welcome to the world of Adam’s fandom. Adam is held to different standards than other musicians, and anything he does that can be a source of criticism by the haters is immediately pounced on. No wonder we still feel so protective of him. This, too will pass, it is just frustrating. In the past Adam has been called a “controversy magnet”, not for what he does, but for the uproars that seem to surround him.

Ha! My take: The news value here is that there are (sadly) still a number of artists who hide their sexuality in fear of affecting their careers.
The fact that Adam has slept with a few: So what? He’s a single MAN, and most men (more than women, I believe) will have sex readily with willing partners.
Many of the articles are including his quote about why people feel the need to not come out, and saying that it shouldn’t matter in today’s world (but it still does).
He’s known as an outspoken and honest interviewee, and this
also restates the fact that he is an openly SEXY gay man. Not just your vanilla, watered-down, asexual suppressed one.

Something always happens when his music comes out. Although the album won’t be until June 16th. Can’t remember what it was for Trespassing.
I don’t trust Ellen. In fact I really can’t stand any of her interviews with him. Always brought up AMA’s. You could tell Adam was frustrated with that question. May not be enough chair time for him. Seems like there’s quite a few guests on that day.
