The calm after the end of QAL in February didn’t last long – thank the universe – and the roll-out to TOH appears nicely underway. We had the Sunrise/AU interview on 3/18, followed by the MiniMTV one on 3/20, the Hunger Mag major Q&A (with spectacular pics by Rankin) on 3/24, Attitude Mag’s great article (sold-out, of course), ending up with the iHeart Red Carpet appearance. But the big news, of course, was the Ghost Town snippet and the interest it engendered. April looks to be even more interesting, with the single release on the 21st – good times ahead.

Adam Lambert will release his new single “Ghost Town”, which was co-produced by Max Martin, this Tuesday, April 21st at 12 midnight ET. [just after 11:59 PM Monday]

Yeah!! Adam managed to get on one chart already here in the Netherlands!!!

They had a whistle top 40 this morning on Q-music to celebrate the spring and the Dutch Glamberts were already asking people to vote for Adam yesterday and the day before and I did as well. So Adam got spot 38 because of that and got played on the radio station at 6:14 this morning (while I was still a sleep though). Ghost Town is now also listed on their site with the cover art and the lyric video from WBR.

I think those pictures are mostly from people he admires (James Dean, David Bowie etc.) and some are remotely related to Ghost Town and maybe the album. We’ll see.

Just noticed that Adam’s GT and TOH on AMAZON is marked “RECORD COMPANY REQUESTED METADATA”. I clicked on “learn more” and this is what they said:

Some record companies require us to insert identifiers in the metadata that accompanies music when you download it from the Digital Music Store or your Amazon Music library. This includes music you have purchased from Amazon.com and matched music imported to your Amazon Music library from your device. These identifiers may include a random number Amazon assigns to your order or copy, purchase date and time, an indicator that the music was downloaded from Amazon, codes that identify the album and song (the UPC and ISRC), Amazon’s digital signature, an identifier that can be used to determine whether the audio has been modified, and an indicator whether the music was purchased from the Digital Music Store or imported to your Amazon Music library.

Old picture. There was a video on the award show just now with Adam thanking everybody. The video was shot yesterday I think because he had the same clothes on as on the pictures from the WBR party.

On World news tonight anchorman kept saying cities & airports in Chile & Argentina looked like Ghost Towns with ashes from the huge volcano eruption in Chile.

lol, I finally sent the lyric video to my brother here in town fearing what he was going to say, if he even was going to listen.

Just got a phone call and he said he actually liked it (I told him to turn it up!). However, he said the “club dance music” part reminded him of SNL or Night at the Roxbury where the two brothers Will Farrell & Chris Kattan go from nightclub to nightclub & bob their heads to the music (What is Love).

He was kind of correct because GT takes the vibe from 90’s club music.
