The calm after the end of QAL in February didn’t last long – thank the universe – and the roll-out to TOH appears nicely underway. We had the Sunrise/AU interview on 3/18, followed by the MiniMTV one on 3/20, the Hunger Mag major Q&A (with spectacular pics by Rankin) on 3/24, Attitude Mag’s great article (sold-out, of course), ending up with the iHeart Red Carpet appearance. But the big news, of course, was the Ghost Town snippet and the interest it engendered. April looks to be even more interesting, with the single release on the 21st – good times ahead.

Adam Lambert will release his new single “Ghost Town”, which was co-produced by Max Martin, this Tuesday, April 21st at 12 midnight ET. [just after 11:59 PM Monday]

    TLKC I received my Attitude magazine from Newstand somewhere in the past week. It was in my mailbox yesterday and we checked it a week before that on Tuesday. I was quite late ordering it, but The Netherlands is pretty close to the UK. Where do you live?

    HK Fan I can’t stream or buy “Ghost Town” yet either. I believe in the Netherlands it will be available tomorrow.

    Since only New Zealand, Canada and the US are listed on that link from LadyNorth with a position for Ghost Town I think the rest of the world will have to wait some more to be able to buy it.

    Went to iTunes to order the single, that was very complicated, wound up ordering album deluxe, which is fine, just couldn’t do single without album. Then played the single, oh no has the f-word. I don’t care,but who wants to hear family teasing about it.

    Go back buy the “clean” version, it still the f-word one. Now what to do??

    I go to amazon and specifically order download of “clean” version, yep you guessed it. F-word version again. Why is this such work. I am a fan, can you imagine if I was only a casual fan. I would have given up.

    And all this “order from here, no order from here”, for it to count. I have a headache now, but I LOVE this song.

    Going to buy the deluxe package for $62.99, which I am sure includes the deluxe cd, ‘cos it’s right in the title.

    Don’t be so sure TLKC. None of the album packages say deluxe album, and I think that the deluxe here might describe the extras in the package.

    The Trespassing fan version cd was the deluxe version + making of video, so I would think it would be the deluxe, but you never know.

    I know one review said he is using his falsetto and I know they say this when it is not true.

    Do you think it is falsetto?

    I am imagining him writhing dancing to the section of drum beats. Wink

    glambotgram Wasn’t the falsetto mentioned in an album review and not in the single review? There are some that have heard more than 1 song from the album. I don’t hear any falsetto in Ghost Town either.

    I just listened Ghost Town on my main desktop computer with some decent sound output instead of my work laptop (from which I was listening the whole day so far) and I must say WOW!!!!
    With the first listen I wasn’t that impressed this morning but it grew over me after 2-3 times. Having it fill the room is a whole other experience though. I really can relate now to the comments about it being a massive club hit as well. Almost brought tears to my eyes and made me want to dance (which I did a bit from the hips upward Wink).

    I too can imagine Adam dancing to the section of drum beats.

    The YouTube is picking up views rapidly also now. 20 minutes ago it was 61k and now it’s over 67k already.

    I still haven’t forgiven Entertainment Weekly for the “Trespassing” review but the “Ghost Town” release is one of their top stories. It just mentions it. It’s not a review. But at least they’re paying attention to him.

    How often do we hear a song and like it at first listen? Not that often I believe. At least not myself. If I’m honest, when hearing it at first last night I wasn’t impressed. It just sounded like the snippets. But before bed I listened about 3 or 4 more times. Ok, it was getting better.

    This morning on my way to work I listened on my iphone and got the chills when Adam’s voice came on. And these chills continued through the whole song. Only played it one more time at work. I can say now I really like it. Do I love it? Not sure yet. Do I think it will “click” with the public? Not sure about that either. Just hope radio plays it. That’s all I’m hoping for.

    The Amazon link on the adamofficial.com website works now. TOH popped up and I bought the pre-sell! Now I just have to figure out whether to buy a basic cd or the $62.99 bundled package from adamofficial.com. There are 6 litho’s and a hat. I will never wear that hat. Confused
