The calm after the end of QAL in February didn’t last long – thank the universe – and the roll-out to TOH appears nicely underway. We had the Sunrise/AU interview on 3/18, followed by the MiniMTV one on 3/20, the Hunger Mag major Q&A (with spectacular pics by Rankin) on 3/24, Attitude Mag’s great article (sold-out, of course), ending up with the iHeart Red Carpet appearance. But the big news, of course, was the Ghost Town snippet and the interest it engendered. April looks to be even more interesting, with the single release on the 21st – good times ahead.

Adam Lambert will release his new single “Ghost Town”, which was co-produced by Max Martin, this Tuesday, April 21st at 12 midnight ET. [just after 11:59 PM Monday]

    Have listened to it several times. Not as much house music as I thought there might be. I could see myself listening to this in my car, turning it up. His vocals really shine.

    Could not help myself! I listened to it. I think it is amazing and all I hoped it would be. His voice just really shines through! I think this song is going to be a big hit for him. I will be buying it tonight on i-tunes as soon as the clock strikes 12. I really, really love this song. I love the way it starts off kind of slow and builds temp as it goes. I think this song really showcases his voice!

    Why is it out already? Did someone leak it too soon? I want it to be official. I don’t want it to be a leak, we were so close to midnight.

    I think he was forced into tweeting out the tracklist today because someone found it on itunes in NZ was it?

    I haven’t watched yet, I guess I just wanted him to be able release it all as planned. He was having so much fun with it.

    Can’t figure that out either, I subscribe to his channel and if I just go to the channel it is not there, I can only see it if i follow the link on twitter. Strange

    So I just talked to mils and she is working on getting her computer up to speed rather than buy a new one. But she was able to listen to Ghost Town on her phone and will give her feedback near the end of the week. She wants to tell everyone that because of the computer problems, she’ll be off line for the next couple of days.

    Ok, I love it. Adams voice up front, you can hear every word, you can sing along with it, which helps song sell, and play on radio. The beat is crazy, the whistling is no way effecting the song which I was wondering about. Great Adam, Thank god for an upbeat song, with a dark meaning instead of all these somber songs that are around.

    Listened a few times before it was pulled. Liked it better each time. This song is so different than anything else you hear on the radio. I pray it takes hold of the causal listener. Big push for folks not to create downloads. Hope that works and our guy gets a great showing on ITunes.

    Darn! I missed the video. I’ll just have to get up extra early tomorrow morning to hear GT. If I stay up until midnight, I’ll be so excited after hearing it that I won’t be able to sleep all night. But I’m so happy to hear all your positive comments. I want so much for this single to be a big hit. I also love the gorgeous cover photo for the album and am very excited to see that Heart Brian May Heart collaborated on a song.

    I’m so proud of myself. I have an iTunes Store account now that I can purchase music. Grin ROTFL

    I had to get my new Apple ID and create new e-mail address. The old one always told me to go to Bahrain to purchase music … haha. Yeah Right!! Rolls Eyes Smug

    I bought an iTunes card and redeem it.

    Once “Ghost Town” drops in HOURS, here are 5 simple things we can do this week and thereafter to help Adam get the hit he so deserves:

    1.Buy the single on 4/21 from iTunes (first and then at Amazon and Google Play if you can afford it.) Do not pre-order “Ghost Town” if it’s not available then in your country; wait for release day (per Adam’s team). NOTES: iTunes is first choice for purchase of single (per Adam’s team; it accounts for most of the sales and is what radio and media watch). Only one purchase/download per iTunes account will be counted for chart. If you need the single gifted to you, please send us your email address for your iTunes account (or info for Amazon)…the fandom will likely take care of you!

    2.Stream “Ghost Town” on Spotify on-demand. You can do this with a free Spotify subscription on your computer or tablet, but need a paid subscription to do this on your mobile phone. More details.

    I am very impressed how well they were able to bring out Adam’s voice, and still they kept it very sophisticated and not overbearing. My hopes are high that the whole album is that well done.
