The calm after the end of QAL in February didn’t last long – thank the universe – and the roll-out to TOH appears nicely underway. We had the Sunrise/AU interview on 3/18, followed by the MiniMTV one on 3/20, the Hunger Mag major Q&A (with spectacular pics by Rankin) on 3/24, Attitude Mag’s great article (sold-out, of course), ending up with the iHeart Red Carpet appearance. But the big news, of course, was the Ghost Town snippet and the interest it engendered. April looks to be even more interesting, with the single release on the 21st – good times ahead.

Adam Lambert will release his new single “Ghost Town”, which was co-produced by Max Martin, this Tuesday, April 21st at 12 midnight ET. [just after 11:59 PM Monday]

    I simply cannot believe that anyone would even remotely think that Adam would pierce his tongue!! That’s his moneymaker!

    OMG. Of all the piercings that can be done, tongue piercing is so repugnant to me. Others, not so much.

    I, we, have seen many piercings on many people, some friends, some family, some co-workers, but, yikes, in my work, I have seen them gone “bad.” Infected. Swollen. Sooooooo gross.

    His tongue does have a natural “bifurcation” or near split along the midline that I have noticed many times. It is fairly common, but with a tongue that gets a workout like his –singing–dirty minds–singing–it is exercised more than most folk’s, and may stand out due to this.

    I do believe that Notion pic is simply darker due to shadows and lighting.

    For some reason I’m craving a popsicle right now…

    I remembered what Adam had said when they moved in the Idol Mansion.
    Now he has a beautiful house and he can buy a dimmer factory if he wants to .. or may be a light bulb factory … haha .. Grin

    Is WBR giving TOH their full support and that’s why we’re seeing and reading everything?

    I’m not even a Quentin fan (or anybody else’s fan) but I really think Harry and Ryan were very unprofessional today. Harry thinks he needs to teach everybody a lesson. And Ryan should have diffused the situation. Two grown men showing off their power vis-a-vis a young black contestant. Painful to watch.

    What do you mean by while streaming thing?

    Tidal is streaming service as Spotify, owned by some big stars who get big money out of it. There was some buzz about it on twitter while ago. Not gonna go there… I think it doesn’t matter for Adam’s sake what streaming service you use. Buying his single and cd, listening to them also in spotify and watching official music video on youtube is helpful I think Smile

    Hi gang – I haven’t posted in a while but thought I’d dip my toe back in. Thank you all so much for all of your kind and supportive messages after my last post a few weeks ago when I shared that my mom was in her final days and that I would need to be absent from here for a while. Indeed, she did pass away at the end of March; thankfully, it was peaceful, gentle, and pain-free, and I felt privileged and honored to be with her to the end.

    It’s been a difficult few weeks, managing grief and exhaustion while returning to a very demanding period at work. The challenges were then compounded by the fact that one week after my mom’s passing, on Easter morning, another car ran a stop sign and plowed into me. Thankfully no one was hurt, but there was lots of car damage and it shook me up. I’m back in LA again now, preparing for my mom’s memorial service this weekend. So, I’m more somber than usual and a little drained and overwhelmed, but fortunately, I’m tough and I’m hanging in there ok.

    I’ve been lurking on twitter and ALL when I have a chance, to keep up with all of the news and excitement about Adam’s new music release. I’m really happy for him and for us. The reviews and pre-release hype have been amazing. I’m particularly liking the interviews, which are giving us a glimpse into his current thinking and perspective. Hopefully I’ll be up to posting more regularly and doing full-fledged berting again by next week. Love to you all. Heart
