The calm after the end of QAL in February didn’t last long – thank the universe – and the roll-out to TOH appears nicely underway. We had the Sunrise/AU interview on 3/18, followed by the MiniMTV one on 3/20, the Hunger Mag major Q&A (with spectacular pics by Rankin) on 3/24, Attitude Mag’s great article (sold-out, of course), ending up with the iHeart Red Carpet appearance. But the big news, of course, was the Ghost Town snippet and the interest it engendered. April looks to be even more interesting, with the single release on the 21st – good times ahead.

Adam Lambert will release his new single “Ghost Town”, which was co-produced by Max Martin, this Tuesday, April 21st at 12 midnight ET. [just after 11:59 PM Monday]

    got Rolling Stones tix. The closest they are coming to me is Orlando and that’s 4 hrs away. I would only go that far for Adam. Smile
    I am still thinking about QAL South America but maybe Argentina…big maybe. Not really keen though.
    I hope they will do Europe again next year . I prefer to travel there and my foot will be back to normal next year.

    Axxxel Rolling Stones were in Asia last year, played in Macau…. only tickets left when my husband looked to get some were around $14,000 if I remember right…..saw them once, didn’t need to see them again, certainly not at that price.

    Thank you ultimathule. So nice to read about Adam in a indonesian girl’s teenmagazine… “Gadis” means “girl”.

    The largest part of the article is about Ghost Town, but they mentioned that he grew up and out of the feathers and glitter … and also that he used to be on American Idol (AI)in 2009 and that he was a guest judge in AI in 2015.

    So someone this morning at work who loves Queen was all upset they had no idea they toured last year. She would have gone anywhere in the U.S. to see them. South America is out (like for most of us).

    First she said “a Queen cover band?” and then when I talked about Adam she says “oh, Adam’s playing Freddie Mercury?”. LOL, had to educate her. I said “no….Adam is Adam fronting for Queen. Sheesh!

    Crazy stats in this week’s sales! #2 in sales, with 45K sales but +62.6K in streams = 107.5K, crushed #1 in sales 73K with only 3.5 streams!

    Guess stream is really important.

    I am soooo dumb about streaming. I should Wiki it but can anyone explain what it really is? Is watching something on youtube streaming? Is it simply just listening/watching a tune on the computer?

    I read that the price increased $3. This might have something to do with Newsstand’s request for extra Adam Lambert covers; essentially a bigger print run. Technically a bigger print-run would be cheaper on a per capita basis but it is a special request so the publishers can do whatever they want.

    Perhaps the person who is talking about a $4 increase is Canadian. The rate of exchange is different.

    Billboard rankings are based on 3 factors: radio play, sales and streams. Patti Hum doesn’t mention radio play for the Top 2 singles and that is important, too.
