The calm after the end of QAL in February didn’t last long – thank the universe – and the roll-out to TOH appears nicely underway. We had the Sunrise/AU interview on 3/18, followed by the MiniMTV one on 3/20, the Hunger Mag major Q&A (with spectacular pics by Rankin) on 3/24, Attitude Mag’s great article (sold-out, of course), ending up with the iHeart Red Carpet appearance. But the big news, of course, was the Ghost Town snippet and the interest it engendered. April looks to be even more interesting, with the single release on the 21st – good times ahead.

Jessa Sininger @jessasiniger is the original artist. I hope she knows that Adam likes it and approved him to make it part of his header.
ETA: Based on her reply to a poster on her site, she may not be happy about people using her artwork without permission:
So does that mean she doesn’t want Adam to use her artwork? Doubt it.
If she is given full credit for it, then it’s a good guess that she would be delighted, but her accreditation has come through a fellow artist who happens to be a Glambert.
Adam asked where the artwork came from so he is sensitive to that. I haven’t seen Scorpio’s response to him, so I don’t have any idea if that addition to his header follows from a connection with the artist or not. Hopefully it does.

That’s great! Adam may not see Scorpio’s tweet but he could be scrolling her account for an answer. Also, the artist has been made aware by fans so she may contact him. It would be a nice credit for her if Adam decides to leave the work up for a while.

There are some beautiful “ghost town pictures” in that link I posted. You don’t want to go there if you’re in a sad mood. To me most of these pictures bring you to a lonely dark-ish place. I do like cemeteries, though.

Fans were speculating that it was supposed to be a DM and Nile deleted it when he realized it was public. Alternatively, he might have been told Adam can’t do it and wouldn’t want to leave the tweet hanging there.

The artist wasn’t upset about Ghost Town, glambotgram. She simply told a person who had posted one of her pics to take it down because she didn’t like people using her art.
Scorpiobert wouldn’t have known who the artist if she took it from luval’s google “ghost town” link. She has passed on the info, now that she knows. End of this story.
I have ton of yard work to do as well. As it stands now, we might have to wait another couple of weeks.

The artist is complaining on her twitter account about people stealing her art. She also has a tweet about people notifying her that some pop star is using it. My point is if she wants credit she should watermark it, if she doesn’t want it used she should not put it on a site that has free downloads.
Why? What did the artist say or do?

ArtTheft? The pic is without watermark and up for downloading…I dont think she knew all the details. Wouldnt any artist be happy for another “bigger” artist to use your art? I mean she could have asked for credits without using the word #ArtTheft…I dont think she is such a big artist and having the Glamberts interested in your arts wouldnt hurt at all.

Poor Adam, he had no idea. He probably thought that it was fan art. In the meantime, a Glambert pile-on is only making it worse.

It was just a run-of-the-mill ordinary person (like us) who downloaded the first pic and was asked to take it down. This is a bit of a different situation, since her artwork has been significantly altered and apparently used for promotional purposes by someone who is assumed to have a marketing budget.
She’s got it wrong but that’s what it looks like to her.
But lesson learned as Adam says. When the furor dies down she will probably think “Damn! I could have made an opportunity out of that!”
Seems like her artwork was used on a different website as well. Still if I dont want to take the risk and have my artwork, pics or whatever stolen, just put a watermark on it.
