The calm after the end of QAL in February didn’t last long – thank the universe – and the roll-out to TOH appears nicely underway. We had the Sunrise/AU interview on 3/18, followed by the MiniMTV one on 3/20, the Hunger Mag major Q&A (with spectacular pics by Rankin) on 3/24, Attitude Mag’s great article (sold-out, of course), ending up with the iHeart Red Carpet appearance. But the big news, of course, was the Ghost Town snippet and the interest it engendered. April looks to be even more interesting, with the single release on the 21st – good times ahead.

Adam Lambert will release his new single “Ghost Town”, which was co-produced by Max Martin, this Tuesday, April 21st at 12 midnight ET. [just after 11:59 PM Monday]

    Sure hope Shosh was searching bags and purses for recording devices….this is soooo gonna leak…it won’t stop me from buying the album, hope it doesn’t hurt sales.

    I am trying to ignore all these…its so amazing, and wow tweets too….remember reading similar about the Trespassing album from so many radio peeps, then they didn’t play it…..

    Not impressed with that writer either…sounds like a shitty thing to do, release a rock version the same time….surely WB should be onto that??

    So I ran into a nurse friend of mine I hadn’t seen in months (she works on another floor)…who asked if I’d been traveling lately. She remembered my travels for Glam Nation & Trespassing. I told her about London & QAL and she almost started crying. SHE AND HER TEEN DAUGHTER LOVE QUEEN! As usual never knew they were touring much less Adam singing lead. I gifted her a DVD (thanks jlurk)…I carry a couple in my bag all the time.

    Anyway, I know ERA 3 is here and should be focusing on that but I can’t help myself talking about QAL.

    I do not understand why a “so called writer” on the song would leak all these lyrics! Don’t writers get a % of the sales? I would think everyone involved that stands to make money on a song would want to protect this kind of info! Do we know if this person is really one of the writers?! If he is, this doesn’t seem like a very smart move. As much as I am dying to hear this song, I do not want it to leak ahead of time. I am pretty sure it will hurt the sales of this song. As far as releasing an alternate version with his own voice, that would be a pretty shitty thing to do. Can he even do this? I wouldn’t think so. I would not think WB would allow that!

    I don’t watch The Voice but I am at my daughters and they are watching last nights show. Did any of you catch the lady with the Fringe coat on? Adam the style setter.

    I would like to ask Shoshanna about that writer but so many people bug her so much that I don’t want to add to it. I don’t think he was the only writer =, if I remember correctly there were several.

    Just want to mention I forget that we are in a bubble here. If there is a leak the general buying public will most likely not hear it. And never hear the snippets either. IMO that’s why radio play unfortunately is sooooo important for ERA 3. Radio PD’s are the be all and end all to this. Damn it.

    Early life[edit]

    cait Am rushing to work so can’t go into detail but it’s about one of the GT writers named Sterling Fox saying he’s going to release a rock version. He’s been going back and forth with fans about this (tweets have been deleted). Anyway, he’s back tracked a little saying “it’s just for fun and he’ll do it at the end of the summer”. Feeling is he’s been told to STFU! Gotta run. Someone else can explain further.

    I just checked the tweets and it looks as Sterling Fox did the demo and is very excited about it. He said that he will be releasing the demo after Adam’s version has run it’s course and it is likely that he was told that he could do so from the start.

    Whether it was okay for him to tweet about it (particularly the lyrics) is another thing.

    The main thing is that Adam’s version of the song hasn’t leaked.

    How many people have received their Attitude Magazine? I ordered from Magazine Café on March 27th and have not received a shipping notification. A fan on twitter says that they received notice that the publisher has run out and there are no more being printed.
