nkd, I’ve just watched your ALN/TISI. How can you think those videos are sub-par. Amazing, incredible. thank you so much! Just as if I was there. Those are the kind of seats I like, I’m too short to be in the floor crowd.

The crowds around TALC were loud and enthusiastic! Loved the opening where he was in the dark & then popped in the light on EITN. And he was singing to someone there too. Maybe those two boys that posted on twitter?
All in all a great show. Am sure tonight will be the same.

Morning! nkd love,love,love your vids. The sound is sooooo good and the perspective allows you to see Adam’s dancing and his interactions with the crowd and his band.
Loved seeing everyone in Houston. Brought back such good memories of our other trips together. The dear Duke and LittleDutchess looked absolutely spectacular in their Halloween themed outfits. It looks like unless we all want a trip to SE Asia for the holidays are NYE reunion won’t be happening. TG there are shows scattered about for the next couple months to tide us over.
Houston was lovely as was nkd’s hospitality and home. We were able to fit in a really good Mexican meal and a visit to the Sam Houston park. Luckily no rain to ruin our outings.
The concert venue had good acoustics and quick access to bathrooms (two top requirements in my book). Too long of a delay before Adam came on but I guess that’s been explained now. He seemed so happy. Said Halloween was a gay’s Christmas. Hah!
Two unusual things. Adam didn’t mention or thank his band and he didn’t take a bow at the end of the performance. I guess he has been doing that lately (not bowing). Having his concert end is hard anyway but without the opportunity to give him some additional praise at the end made it even harder. He does and always has left me wanting more that is for sure!
My friend and I stayed at the Lancaster Hotel which was just a couple blocks from the venue. Tuesday night we went down to the bar for a drink and to watch the World series.We starting talking to the bar tender, Jeff. As it turned out he is an Adam fan and avid Queen fan. He knew everything about Queen, and idolizes Brian May. He went to help another customer, and when he came back,”I said Jeff look at this” It was a picture of Brian May and me backstage in Scotland. He smiled and high fives me.
The next night was the concert. Even though it was a really long wait, Adam is always worth it. When he came on stage, I had a big sigh of relief. I can recognize him,not covered up by a costume.Absolutely loved opening with Evil in the Night. I was so excited when he said he was going to do a new song. I had my fingers crossed for Shame or the Light. Yeah The Light. Hope it stays in all his concerts. Still hoping to hear Shame someday. I would have preferred Put a Spell on You over Black Cat and regular IIHY. I always feel so fortunate no matter what Adam sings. The thrill of when he walks on stage, is the same as it was 6 years ago.
Just finished watching/listening to nkd“s vids. Just fabulous! Brought back the details of Adam’s concert in Houston. Great acoustics in the Revention Music Center. So enjoyable. And Adam was at 150%–no holding back-just gave us evn more than expected, as usual! Seeing/ hearing The Light and Lucy was frosting on the cake. The Duke and I talked for a long time with a guy who was there with a friend who has been a fan since Idol but had never seen Adam live.He was probably late 20s early 30s. So we told him it would be great… that he is even better live and will give his all. This guy was was as excited as a kid on Christmas. It was wonderful to see and he had a great time. Gave him a few pointers for YouTubes etc.
We had a wonderful time with nkd, adamized, TexasWannaHoldEm and Aely at the HardRock before the show and really liked Houston in general. These gatherings of ALL friends are nearly as good as the concert itself and tend to make the concert experience even more special. Can’t wait until December for the concert in Worcester, MA..Adam and Allers…what a combination.! Everyone–enjoy these one-offs live when you can.
OMG, nkd, your vids are just…beautiful! The sound you captured just brings Adam’s voice to life. And the viewing angle was somehow just right. I’m sure it’s not as good as being there, but I am so grateful to have these to watch!
TISI was so emotional. Makes me wonder if it wasn’t particularly special to him after all the DL and NJ crap.
